About Open Health Niverville
In 2005, Doctors Chris and Mairi Burnett started Niverville Medical Clinic when they first moved to the community. In 2017, the clinic became Open Health Niverville (OHN) and moved into its current location, working in collaboration with staff employed by Southern Health-Santé Sud. As of February 2026, Open Health consists of 15 physicians and seven front desk staff members who are proudly serving the patients of Open Health.

Share a memory or kind wishes with Dr. Mairi Burnett!
With Dr. Mairi Burnett’s retirement coming up quickly, we want to provide her current and former patients a way to say thank you for her many years of service to our community.
Over the next few weeks, please feel free to stop by the clinic during working hours, and drop off a note for Dr. Mairi. There will be a drop-box placed to collect these notes, as well as cards available to sign on site.
The clinic is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 11:55 AM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM for those wishing to drop off a note. The drop off box will be available until Friday, March 13th, 2026.

Generally speaking, the Zero Tolerance policy extends to conduct which can be considered unacceptable in nature. This includes interactions in person, by phone, and/or in writing. Unacceptable conduct includes (but is not limited to): Violence, Intimidation, Inappropriate, demeaning, or abusive language, discriminatory remarks, threats or threatening behavior, bullying or yelling, or sexual harassment.
