About Open Health Niverville
In 2005, Doctors Chris and Mairi Burnett started Niverville Medical Clinic when they first moved to the community. In 2017, the clinic became Open Health Niverville (OHN) and moved into its current location, working in collaboration with staff employed by Southern Health-Santé Sud. OHN consists of eight physicians and six front desk staff members who are proudly serving the town of Niverville.

Open Health Niverville is pleased to welcome Dr. Trevor Poole as the newest paneled doctor at our clinic. Dr. Poole started on Tuesday, February 18th, 2026, and is currently accepting new patients through Family Doctor Finder.
Dr. Trevor Poole grew up in Moosomin, SK, about 15 minutes from the SK-MB border. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Brandon University prior to medical school (University of Saskatchewan) and completed his residency in Family medicine in Brandon. He has worked in a number of clinics and ERs in Prairie Mountain Health before joining the team at Open Health. His partner, Colten, is an Obstetrics resident at U of M, and they have a small fur-family of two cats and a small chihuahua. Dr. Poole welcomes patients of all ages and has additional interests in LGBTQ+ health, mental health and ADHD, as well as preventative health.
Open Health Niverville encourages all community members and non-patients who are looking for a family doctor in Niverville (such as Dr. Poole) to sign up for Manitoba’s Family Doctor Finder. Doctor Finder can be reached by phone at 1-866-690-8260, or online at www.gov.mb.ca/health/familydoctorfinder/. Open Health is unfortunately unable to add patients to any doctor’s panel over the phone, by email, or by face-to-face contact. ... See MoreSee Less
